    No it typically lands on the neighbor’s privacy fence and waits for an unsuspecting bird. If it can’t target one, it flys into the bush and flushes them out which is what it did this time as all hell breaks out with birds squeaking and flying into the sunroom windows. :crackup: I shouldn’t laugh but when it shows up it goes to complete bird inactivity and silence for several minutes - the birds just shut up and fly into the bush and hide. Then wham, all hell breaks loose as he flys in to flush them out. LOL.

    The one by my house loves eating mockingbirds lol. The mockingbird on the fence watching it's partner be eaten. I never knew the hawk plucks most of the feathers off before it eats the other bird, just rips them off and makes a mess 0410151837.jpg 0410151838c.jpg 0410151844.jpg
