On the mountains of Pai after one hell of a ride in the twisties ! (can you say boiling brake fluid ?)
I actually spent a month exploring Thailand earlier this year when I was on my 5-month backpacking trip of SE Asia. You're going to love it man, such a chill country, specially in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. I spent countless of hours scooting around up there. I will suggest though you don't spend too much time in Bangkok, unless you love big city stuff. I found it took away a lot from the rest of the country to explore. If you're up in Chiang Mai make sure you do the ride to Pai - everyone who I've talked to and done that ride said they loved it, and Pai too. Don't get caught in the Pai-hole. You'll know what I mean if you go. Doi Tung in Chiang Mai is worth a visit. Have fun, stay safe, it's going to be a ripper. P.S. eat some bugs and have copious amounts of fresh sugar cane juice.
If you’re riding a dong like metal head. Otherwise avoid the fanny packs and murses guys. Or the rest of us will make fun of you.
if you see Brian tell him I said hi! Dude rode his bicycle around America a couple years back. He’s as good a guy as you’ll find. Have a great trip!
Found in a fanny pack lol Hope you're having fun, sounds like an awesome trip, aside from the bug eating.
yep me too! I thought if I remember, its all a blur, is they sautéed them in peanut oil or something? They weren't half bad but I was alllll boogered up....
I was deep fried. Very crunchy and actually kinda tasty if you can get the fact that it's a f@cking bug out of your head (which wasn't my case lol). Had to wash if off with a few Chang beers...
