F@ck my bandwagon stock just went to $0. Sympathizing with Enron workers now I guess this super deep field that MM is carving up is too much for him
I am glad he is retired. a rider of his caliber doesn't need to be running around seconds off the pace at the back. I was never a fan, but he deserved a better final season than this. and theres vale....riders come and riders go, some win some don't - and he remains and is a competitive rider throughout - its really a testament to 46 as well when another great such as Jorge doesn't last as long in gp...
"pwuhwuhwuhwuhwuh. I don't want to be the Janitor. Always cleaning, cleaning..." Some of you guys might chose to remember something ill about the guy, and that says more about you than him. All I saw was a great racer who gave it everything and showed some humanity in the process. Wishing him a great retirement (and now, it looks like I owe the AFF $100 ).
Can't say that I'm a fan of his due to my own personal perceptions of his personality. But they guy was a multi-time world champion and it sucks to see his final years play out how they have as a fan of racing. That said, he's young and has more money than he knows what to do with. Not the worst outcome for a career.
As impersonal as he appears to be, the psychological fuck job of falling into battles for last place has to really be disheartening. I hope his retirement serves him well. And Dave Sapsis can suck an egg.
