If you are watching someone in front of you lowside, why would you take the outside line, into the path (99%of the time) of the bike/rider.
They need to put plastic pucks on the front of his knees for when the puck rolls to the side when he’s jamming that knee in. Or a domed puck that wraps to the front
Damn that Oliveira crash was nasty. If the wind can just push you off the front straight at max speed, you have to agree with the postponement.
scary stuff. i can’t imagine what goes through your head as a rider when you basically are along for the ride at that kind of speed. i’ve seen guys bail off bikes (laid her down to keep from crashing), but it’s hard to wrap your mind around when all your instincts tell you to try and save it... i hope to never be forced with that decision.
they said no broken bones, just sore. wonder if he ever lost consciousness? because if not, i'm about to order that lid.
Didnt someone in moto2 go down in the same spot? I thought the first one was a weird place to go off the side like that but gusty winds would explain it.
I haven't had a chance to see any of this yet, been getting my firewood in the cellar. Know what I'm doing when I'm done.
i loved my old shark helmet. and look the visor even stayed on. that's impressive. now if they can make a ovalish internal, i'll be good to go.
The Arai held up well when S. Nakano crashed on the straight (I think when his tire failed) around 190mph IIRC. Crazy what those things can take while keeping our bean in one piece!
Lukas Tulovic - a young german rider And Zarco is looking great so far!! Mt other favorite French ridrer Canet on front row too (ok so hes spanish but ... I think of that as a french name)
