No clue what kind of deal they worked out but the cost prohibitive thing people kept talking about for prior events was opening the track on top of paying out a million or more in sanction fees for the GP race.
Let's be straight, MotoGP has never filled any Grandstands in the US at any location, at least over the last 12 years since I've been watching. And no NJMP
Turnout is pretty good in COTA, just not packed hillsides like everywhere else, and Indy is impossibly large to fill being that it holds 300k+ people.
I mean if they do kill NJMP from the calendar at least this gives me a reason to hit up a road trip to a facility I've never been to before
Yeah, should be plenty in town but nothing at the track. He's thinking minis though so it'd be easy enough to set something up in a parking lot.
Now that is funny! Maybe I should get a room downtown too, although I'd be happier needing the RV at the track to run a race or two
