I wouldn't want that claim to fame https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/02/12/corvette-museum-sinkhole/5417171/
I mean in the price category it's an absolute steal if it ages well (NVH, interior doesn't break etc.) and stays reliable. The Supra at 50K is a good deal, but this vette at say 70-75k with the Z51 and Magnet shocks would be an absolute killer car.
We did the ground up construction...somebody else did all of the underground work. To this day we haven't figured out how they missed the sinkhole in the initial borings.
They had a white one at the reveal last night. They are launching it with 12 colors and 6 interior colors. They won't be able to make them fast enough at $60k base price, I can't believe it's that low.
Kinda disappointing there will be no manual transmission.........seems like this is the death rattle for the days of rowing your own.
It will happen a little at first, but this isn't a low volume car or limited edition. I look forward to finding a low mileage used car in a few years because I'm too cheap to buy things new.
