not sure what that means? Govt has always been older and behind the curve. When youre young being a democrat is acceptable when you dont cover all your expenses. Once you see the OT you worked or the capital gains you made evaporate to increased taxes or some policy...you change your tune and affiliation.

 

The legal immigrants that are working will eventually realize that the Ds are not on their side.

 

Look at who Trump beat and how he won. Won't happen again.

 

Realities:
1) The world is not ending
2) We live in the greatest country in the world at the greatest time in history
3) The Democrat party is not ending
4) The Republican party is not ending
5) The world is full of whiny people that should be thankful

 

Maybe, maybe not.

I don't see the two party system surviving much longer. Rather, I see us eventually fracturing into multiple parties as you see in some euro countries. I can see at least 5 that could form right now.

Republicans (traditional RINOS)
Democrats (traditional left but sane Dems)
MAGA (self explanatory)
Far Left (Antifa/Cortez types)
Libertarian (children )

I would also expect that setup to cede power to globalists like it has in Europe. North America will form its own EU type of thing and we will quickly lose freedom, rights, and prosperity. Eventually we end up a disarmed, highly taxed, high unemployment nanny state just like the UK.

None of that happens and life just goes on, ebb and flow.

 

I'm not entirely sure there's such a thing as "greatest country in the world, in the greatest time in history" anymore. Its all a matter of perspective. You get outside the country for a bit, and things look a little different in other places. Yes, definitely better than most, but that could be said for most of the developed/western world.

The multi-party system doesn't go well with how our elections are set up. If you changed the House seats in each state to go to the top X vote getting candidates and not split into districts, that is where the 3rd parties have a chance. Our electoral system is designed to be 2 parties. At most a third might rise and replace one of the existing parties as that has happened in the past, even if not for a long time.

I don't know that we're doomed yet. First and foremost, I think our largest enemy is the media. CNN and MSNBC's ratings are showing that they're slowly fading away. They only report the radical left, like that represents the whole country. The "newest" generation are seeing thru the BS and lies. I see it from my 15yo daughter all the time. Her best friend, which I call my 2nd daughter, is a conservative lesbian. They talk politics and shred apart PC culture. They don't watch any news because they don't trust it. My son's GF, and could be his wife some day, is Mexican. Her parents are legal immigrants. They LOATHE illegal immigrants. They're here legally and are living the American dream. Hard work has brought about prosperity for their family. I think libertarian thought is going to be the main clash against socialist/communist thought as opposed to Rep vs Dem. Trump won 100% as a reaction to Hillary and 8 years of Obama. Even if Trump isn't the best answer, he won over all the real Repub answers. With the rise in libertarian thought, I think there's still a lot of potential hope.

 

That is one sad reality......all one has to do is look at how much that cancerous party is spreading, even when their strongholds aren't prospering. I don't know WTF they've snuck into their water supply but fvck if it isn't working.

 

I am seeing the same things. My kids are reporting to me that young people are starting to reject liberalism, I've talked about it on here before. My son has a Mexican girlfriend as well who is super conservative and comes from a conservative family. My daughter's friends talk like liberals and repeat the same crazy talking points, but my daughter lays down some simple logic and those leftist friends jump on board quickly and agree with her.

Just because the left controls the media and has the loudest voices, doesn't mean they are the majority. I'm seeing and hearing good things coming from the next generation.

EDIT to add: What Ann Coulter is saying can become a reality real quick if we don't secure our borders, and clean up election fraud. Those are the biggest threats to our country.

 

If the President doesn’t get Govt spending in check, a D or R in front of the name won’t matter. They’ll come for it all.

I’m happy that he’s sticking to his guns on the wall, we need it, it’s long overdue. The budget however, specificity spending, needs to be cut or at least capped. This is long overdue, every since he signed that BS they sent to him last time.

He does that, he wins in 2020, I don’t care if Jesus runs against him. He doesn’t, then my vote will be looking to see if anyone else has the balls Trump has in the Primary’s. He’s done fantastic so far, but this has to be number one on his list now.

In my experience immigrants of all types are very conservative and hard working. Ann Coulter is a typical sheltered elitist idiot.

And just for the record, my immigrant parents voted Blue their whole lives until I talked them into voting for Reagan....Why??? Because their union bosses said so..... It's NOT just a brown/black skin thing.
