Getting nothing done is not a bad thing IMO. Shit gets gets more effed up when they actually do something.

Yeah, it was pretty much predicted.

But then again, they said Hillary was going to win in a landslide.

Especially those 40% who said healthcare was their driving issue. Getting what they wanted is a sure thing now.

For here in Colorado I am happy that 112 failed but upset 110 didn’t pass. My job would have went from 3 years to 10 years. Oh well

I don’t fully understand. With the anti America party winning, if Ginsburg croaks in the next two years, can Trump still get a judge through?

Agreed but Polis will be a nightmare. Boulder politics on steroids.

The House has no say in SC Justice selection.

Easier now. Reps picked up 4 seats in the senate so far. Any Supreme Court nominees should sail through. Equally as important are all the district court appointments.
The Senate is now a greater majority, therefore, the Dems would likely not even attempt their horse and pony show on the next nominee. They thought they could get Flake or Collins to flip to their side and got Murkowski. The new arrivals are far more aligned with Trump.
Courts are safe for two more years at least.
The house on the other hand.
Expect them to investigate every shit Trump takes. It will be a relentless flow of inquiries and subpoenas.

Went to bed late last night expecting the incumbent GOP governor Kim Reynolds to lose because the political numb-nuts on the local Des Moines station predicted she lost. Much to my surprise this morning she actually won.
