Ruining my weekend, destroying much of my bike and damaging my shoulder? If so, send me a PM - I'd kinda like to know. I probably won't respond to anything tomorrow though, I'll be in surgery... Thanks, Richard REF: VIR on Sunday 08/05, 1st practice session, 600cc EX, lap 4 or 5, about 8:30AM, front straight Didn't there used to be an unwritten rule that if you caused someone to crash, you went over to their pit to apologize, or at least see how they were doing?
sure sounding like another rider cleaned him out.. from what's posted anyway. did you get taken out ? what does "caused someone to crash" mean exactly..
Fellas, not looking for the whole typical he said/ he said, WERA board drama (not that I'm above it), just wanted to see if anyone knew who hit me. There were a few folks who saw it happen, but none of them seem to have any idea who it was, other than "the bike was blue", which is more than I even knew.
All we got is there was possible contact but no clue on who - everyone was busy watching you, getting flags out, and getting to you.
Could be he is thinking he is not at fault and maybe you should be offering the apology? I am not accusing you by any means just pointing out that there are always two side to any story. Or if he is 100% at fault then yes he should at least apologize IMHO. The one time I couldn't apologize for my motor letting go and dumping fluid on the track which caused another rider to go down I was on my way to the hospital for a 5 day vacation.
Everything I heard and am getting from others we've asked is it seems like a convergence of lines without real fault but I didn't see it and no clue on the other rider yet so not 100%.
