my 12year old cut her beautiful long brown hair off, bleached it, and dyed it blue.

Like a fucking pixie cut.

My daughter was talking about dying her hair blue and dreading it (she saw a photo of dad in kollege) and I told her "cool but no dreads, they're impossible to get out." "So I can dye it blue?"
"Sure but you'll kill your hair."

Then she asked if she could shave it.
"Sure, grow it in longer and then you can shave it and give it a charity like Locks for Love."
(her one teammate has cancer so I think this might be more realistic than the blue dreads).

Man, they're kids and girls at that. They do stupid shit and blue hair is mild stupid shit.

i guess it still stings when its your own daughter. don't worry, i had dyed hair like Superstar DJ Keoki when i was 12... i turned out just fine... sorta...

 

My wife got some temporary dye a couple months ago and does my daughters hair pink all the time, washes right out. I come home from work and she has pink hair and kitty whiskers drawn on her face all the time. She's 3 and loves it.
