Great watch, no dates look amazing. If I ever went that way I'd have to bump to a Sea Dweller though because no date kinda drives me nuts and the Rolex cyclops isn't for me.
I like the bump on the dates - but freely admit it's mainly what I'm used to and how I grew up thinking cool watches should look. Sea Dweller in blue is still the current dream.
Somebody snap this up before I do something stupid! https://www.hqmilton.com/timepieces/mo2w5gox/1967-rolex-submariner-5512-4-line-dial-8364
It's definitely over polished. I didn't look at it all that close initially, but the crown guards are a dead giveaway. Explains why it's affordable in relative terms I guess.
So I decided I need a spring drive in my life. Question is: how long do they last and what one should I be looking for? It's mainly the movment that has me interested. Thoughts?
how is it we havent talked about watches for almost a month? anywho....selling my Hamilton Jazzmaster Traveler GMT. It hasn't been on wrist more than twice in the last 3 months, so its down the road. Seiko divers and Seamasters on my wrist lately. Its on ebay if anyone wants a nice current gen dressy-ish GMT. Brown leather band so Jbraun and DaveK approved for where with a suit. http://www.ebay.com/itm/182483634359
I was going to post up that Baselworld was at the end of the month and the Rolex rumors are a killah green to black deep Sea and a new Explorer II. IWC doesn't really do much for that show but we'll see. Chemguy, I'd dig it but my eyes are going and I can't do while or silver face anymore.
Fack. Just got my bonus, my surname is Hamilton, and I need a "suit" watch and this was on my list. Hmm
