Tons better. I mean, I know during the design phase they thought "the exhaust is the first thing they change anyway". But still, they couldn't come up with anything better than that? Even splitting it into 2 small cans (on the same side, like they did on the Euro version of the Panigale 959) would have been better.
We're going to have to wait until it gets a super sport build with normal bolt ons and after market suspension sigh.
I really, really wish they would keep the 750 and bring all the updates down to it. Would be the perfect bike.
The GSXR 1000r does seem to be the least expensive way to get clutchless up and down from the factory, which is on my want list next time I upgrade.
2017 RSV4rr will also have the auto blipper near the same price point along with the TFT dash and better electronics
Having said that, the R1 is still my favorite of the current liter bikes. I wonder if they will give it an update for 2018........
Saw that Ecstar Suzuki is going after ASBK with Josh Waters. Not much time to prepare. That bike will be bone stock when they line up. http://www.mcnews.com.au/josh-waters-to-hit-the-asbk-grid-on-suzuki-gsx-r1000r/
Bone stock? Stock bodywork, lights, mirrors, rearsets, tires, exhaust too? What about the stock recall?
Everything from the same group of people, at the same place, on the same day, with none of the competition around ? I am shocked.
