Romo to Denver, Peterson to Dallas, Garapolo to San Fran, Freeman to Cleveland (just because of his agent squawking before the Super Bowl).
My response will depend on how they play in 2017. Losing Shannahan may be good or bad or no difference.
Just boggles my mind that teams would look at a QB with maybe 2 years left that isn't mobile, has a bad back, is notorious for choking under pressure and was never really all that good anyway. Yeah, Denver took an old man off surgery but Manning after surgery was better than Romo ever had a shot at. Then again, there are teams like Arizona that have been a good QB away from a dominant force for a few years and are nearing the end of their prime with the rest of the team. So they get desperate. And that desperation will bite whoever jumps at it.
Someone remind me to check back in in a few months. I need some time off to recoup. Hope Steve Sarkisian knows what he's doing.
Sadly, Dallas will probably be pretty good next year. As if we needed an actual reason for the local fanaticism to be even more fervent than usual. The 'aints will still suck. At least one team (might) play in LA.
Shanahan... Boom... Now there's a guy who, when his offense scores more points than the other team, he wins... And when they don't, he loses.... Speaking of winners, you know who else is a winner? Brett Faavvre...
Nothing says you suck as a QB more than being traded to Cleveland, and the team trading you had to throw in draft picks.
