LRRS had a Head Tech Inspector who had OCD and a very intense fear of germs. I wasn't aware of it at first, but when I found out, I got some amusement from watching his rituals. At the Sunday riders meeting he used to give a trophy to the Novice who had the most immaculately prepared bike. If anybody brought a ratty looking bike to Tech, they got an ass chewing from him. "Do you have any pride in your work? Get that thing out of here!"
ABSOLUTELY NOT!. Your Ohlins sticker has inadequate spacing beneath the Vortex sticker and the Yoshimura sticker seems a bit askew. FAIL! How can you expect to win tech with such glaring violations? Now strip the bike and start over.
Your fence to the right of the bike leans a bit to the right and could use a pressure washing, fix that. Driveway has cracks in it, fix that. But that playset is fierce!
It looks pretty good, but the first thing that jumped out at me is the "SUZUKI" isn't spaced correctly. There is 2-3mm more white showing under the "S" than it is under the "I". Im just sayin.
For some reason I imagine Broome outlines his bike, chairs, and anything else on the ground in his pit like some people outliner tools on a pegboard. That way he knows where everything goes, and if something is missing.
I don't do that shit. ...now that I already have my pit arrangement sorted and know where everything goes.
Sorry Broome, your bikes might be pretty and all that but you'd be forced to get down on your knees and pray to the majesty that is a Lee Acree bike.
i'm guessing it's 20x30 rollout thin foam pad with stencils and names. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Bike 1...............Cooler-1...............Chair-1...............Cooler-2 Bike 2...........................................Pit table...Chair-2 .....................................................Chair-3 >protective space<..........................................................Bottled Water GROM >protective space<.........................................Mini Roller Toolbox |GROM Viewing area|....................................sidekick toolbox |GROM Viewing area|....................................Table w/Helmet & gloves . ......................................................Hangar for Suit-1 Autograph Table.........................Hangar for Suit-2 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good call. But you forgot Livengood's area with his table and toolbox (which neither I nor anyone else is allowed to touch). And you forgot the PitBull tire tree. But the rest of it looks fairly accurate.
