    He's not getting any younger, he REALLY needs to just go to WSBK and do his best to win one final championship there!

    Has it ever been done? MotoGP, WSBK and a national championship???

    Nope. No one has won the WSBK championship and gone on to win the overall in MotoGP. Conversly, only two of the MotoGP(500GP) refugees have won the WSBK championship. Ramond Roche, and Max Biaggi. But, neither won the 500GP/MotoGP championship.
