very cool.. i do not have a trailer or a way to even pull a trailer. i currently drive a g37 coupe.. lol.. looking to get a jeep this summer, so that will change..
Like the others said. Hit up the local shops and come to a race. You'll make friends. This city has a ton of racers, and even more shit-talkers so you're in good company.
If this poor guy had any idea the mental abuse this will end up costing him.. he'd pony up for the hotel room in a flash. Although I did hear Mongo rents out a bunk in the WERA RV to new racers
i'm already feeling the abuse with some of the responses.. ha.. its all good, i thought there would be more guys out there looking to share travel costs and that sort of thing. maybe they just aren't on this forum. i don't think i was requesting a position as a cook or pit bitch..
I would love to help and will if I can. I just don't know how much I will be going to the track this year. Still trying to work it all out. I'm up in Canton with akdrift. We are suppose to get together in the near future to get his bike set up. Shoot me a PM. Oh and I like you Kenny. No matter what anyone else says.
The economic down turn killed off a lot of the "recreational" guys. Lower budget, toss the bike in the trailer etc etc. Seems the majority of the survivors were the too big to fail type.. Although everyone I've ever met in WERA was good people I think you'll find the paddock more resembles an AMA paddock (before the AMA killed racing) than a club race....
soon. just waiting on a new set of stands and then we can safety wire this thing. my pliers/drill guide came in 2 days ago.
Hey and by the way, Venom's bike is always broke so he can spare a lot of space in his trailer while he comes to watch the rest of us!!! He's a really nice guy, and he will let you ride his RC51!
