Wow. MAM was where I took my New Riders School and was my first time on a track when it opened in 2002. Was a great facility and track but non stop car action and the track/paddock falling apart ruined it.

 

I did that in one day, in the rain, on my motard....

 

I hope they don't close it. I've not been but I keep saying I'm going to make the drive up there.

 

Been there.

I miss racing there, good times.

 

Getting flooded out on a regular basis didn't do it any favors.

 

I like the track a lot, but I have no idea what condition the surface is in at this point. A few years back the track was under water for weeks after some flooding. The last time I was there prior to the flooding it was getting kind of rough.

 

It's not noticeably different after the flood. It's the same dump as before. Super scary runoff, horrible pavement, and a paddock with about an inch if gravel and dirt.

 

Saw the title and thought maybe it was Nashville.

 

Ehh, I'd rather own Bluegrass

Well damn. I was under the impression that it was a nice place. I don't know what I'd do if I got to run at a nice track. Hallett, HPT, and Gateway are all I've ever done.

 

I liked Gateway.

 

It just depends on who you ask. There are people that actually like it...why?...I have no idea.
