i met todd at daytona for the first time, we've messaged back and forth on FB before that. so it was great to meet him, he's a really good guy
Off the rack Podium SUit. I'm 5'9 185. On the bike, you can almost not even tell you are wearing a suit. The gloves are freaking awesome too.
I always find it comical when people compliment a brand/suit based upon how well it fits them personally. That exact same suit may fit somebody else like a swollen, hollowed turd. Everybody is built different. The key is to find (or have made) the suit that fits you right. BTW - if you are in (or from) Brazil, it is spelled "Brasil". I spent a few years working there and had to get in the habit of spelling it correctly.
Well, saw my first Heroic suits this week. They are very nice suits. As a former racer, I still find the price point high for the $1400 suit. I will reserve judgment on the stingray bits once we see a few that have had impact damage. If you like the styling and fit, they are as advertised and well built.
It takes a long time to take that many logos off! Wow, this thread got a new lease on life. Santi, what's up muchacho? Good luck down at Homestead this weekend, watch out for el cable! Maybe Todd can post up a pic of the Pietri Daytona gloves. You wanna see stingray resilience... BTW Todd, it's Lars
Good to know - thanks for the expert opinion  2 things I'm wondering about: 1) kevlar thread - I've heard arguments for and against the use of kevlar thread for motorcycle leathers, but that was a few years ago. Now that I'm looking for some new leathers, has there been any resolution to the kevlar vs. nylon thread debate? 2) how do the Heroic leathers stack up against other brands/models at this price point? Thanks! edit: just read back and saw the update from Heroic that they've switched to nylon. so, I guess that answers question 1...
Damn, that looks like on sweet glove. I have the Held Titans which seem very much like these. Anybody know the price on them?
All I can say as you all know I was down a few times last year I can really say I will only ride with a Heroic suit and gloves on They really kept me safe. Thank you Todd for supporting the race world keep up the great job I hope you have a great sales year for 2011. Go Heroic!!!!
This thread started off rough, seems like this company puts out some quality stuff. Some people on here need to act like assholes in real life not just the internet, so someone can kick their ass once and for all lolol.
