http://www.bwfuel.com/ From the NESBA site: I would like to introduce you to our company and tell you what we are doing for motorcycling. We are BW Fuel Company and we make a Bio Race Fuel called BioWeapon. This fuel is derived from chicken fat and delivers a 4% power gain with a cooler running temperature. There is no re-mapping or jetting required. If your bike is set up for 93 octane pump gas then our 97 octane Bio Fuel will work wonders. This fuel produces similar results to other race fuels but without the oxygenator. It is safe to leave in your bike without worry of corrosion. BioWeapon also has much lower emissions than regular gas. We have been testing this fuel over the past several months on the dyno and at the track. We have run many gallons of fuel through our bikes without an issue. We have inspected our spark plugs and even took video inside of our cylanders. These videos are available at our website to demonstrate the cleaning power of our Bio fuel. Recently we gave away fuel at a Frank Kinsey track day. Everyone that tried it said that they had a more crisp throttle response and the bike rev’ed up quicker. Frank himself was very impressed with the performance after just one tank of BioWeapon. BW Fuel is offering a free tank of BioWeapon to NESBA riders at Barber on 11/7-11/8. In return we ask for some feedback in a short survey. Feel free to look at some of our test results found on our web site www.BWFuel.com ------------- Discuss Normal price from the website is $6 per gallon
Where on the NESBA site is this ad? Why not just continue to run pump gas? If you are running race gas why not just keep running what you've got?
http://tracktalk.nesba.com/showthread.php?t=10063&highlight=weapon I prob will continue to run pump as that is what I am tuned for. Just throwing this out there as something I came across.
I'm all for some new technology, but one thing I wonder... If it's greener, makes more power, less emissions, and produced from bio sources, then why are they only marketing it to track day/racers. Seems' like they would market it to anything that runs on pump gas.
The name "Bio Weapon" makes it sound like it's worse for the environment! I wonder if it will plug up a catalytic converter? (not that it matters for bikes with AM pipes)
Bio Weapon. That's a great name for a fuel. Kinda like that back pack I almost bought to go to Europe. It was called the "Bomb Pack". No kidding. At $6.00 per gallon I'll stick with 93 pump.
So you know...tuning for pump is a hit or miss as the formulation changes throughout the year. You may or may not notice the difference though.
I got a tankful of it last week. Made my bike lay down terribly at WOT. Would I go out of my way to use it? Nah.
I`m sorry, i don`t know the answer. I know some of the people involved with bw but know absolutly nothing about the product.
