I was reading through the rule book since I got my novice provisional license & number and saw that the number plate background is yellow, numbers black. I also saw where it stated 6-inch numbers. No problem on my front, but what about the rear side where it tapers off? The number numbers on my bike on the side look like they go from 5 to 3 inches. I think this bike ran in WERA with this number setup. Will I be ok if I use the same sizes? Any examples I can look at? Any recommendation on where to get the vinyl background and black numbers?

You can duplicate what's on the bike with yellow vinyl. The tail section will be fine or put the side plates on the lower. Any vinyl shop will have what you need. PIP or Randy Minnix should have what you need. I usually let the vinyl guy put everything on so I don't ruin it with air bubbles.

That is far better than what I see racing out there.
