Friend went missing...

What can one do to help? Friend left his girlfriends house not in the best sate of mind. Possibly with a shotgun. left a note. have been missing over 24 hours. his family is in tears. None of friends heard from him. left wallet and cell

police report have been filed. i also called to get in touch with a buddy who works at FBI.

What else can you do?

 

Pray for the best is all I can advise.

 

i even gave police names of roads where I took him riding. guy is not a racer, but he used to ride if that matters

 

If he or she is over 18 there is nothing you can do. Had a friend go missing last year, the police could not do anything but keep an eye out because he was an adult. Hope for the best. Sadly, My friend was found 8 months later.

Call the local news as well, sometimes you can get them to run a short with his picture and "if you have any information please contact"

What did the note say? Was it a suicide note?

I hope for the best for your friend. I really hope you guys find him safe and get him some help. Lost my big brother to mental illness/suicide many years ago and I hate to see people go through it.

 

Sometimes you just need to take yourself off the grid for a little while and run with the deer and the antelope for a few years.
