Bill ,why have the dang mice chewed holes in my leathers?

I have heard those words many times over the last three decades . It's because they are wanting salt. sweat is salty . it is that simple . the sweat is also a leather killer and it corrodes the zippers even the metal sliders on the plastic ones. forewarned is forearmed .
