You absolutely need to buy a ticket - either at the gate or through the track (same pricing once you add on ticketmaster fees I think).

All roadracers will go in Gate 3 as usual. Any other gate will be for swap meet or dirtbike racing stuff. No one goes in Gate 2, that goes to the office. Gate 1 is the main spectator gate with the kiosks and such.

I'll be sending out an email tomorrow with all the info and you WILL need to have that email to get in gate 3 prior to 5pm. You can have it on your phone or printed. It will be personalized and I don't know if they're checking IDs or not but you won't be able to pass it around to everyone you know, if you're arriving with more than one vehicle I'd plan on all being there at the same time.

Thanks. But if only road racers went through gate 3 before 5pm last year, you would’ve been turning down entries because that line was crazy long at noon. ;)

Lots of people line up to get in at 5pm. It is the gate at that point for spectators.

Ah. Always seems like a cluster but what are they gonna do. It’s a bunch of hooligan vintage guys trying to get an early start on the shenanigans. :) Just frustration when it took an hour to get up to the front and all of 5 seconds to show my info and pass through.

Yep, it's all of the riders/fans/vendors all wanting to get the party started early and all showing at the same time :D

The pre entry early is an attempt to make it go smoother and keep people from lining up way early but people in general aren't the brightest most days...

Emails have been sent. If you didn't get one check your spam folder(s) and if it's not there email me at [email protected]

Thank you WERA crew for a great VMD. It was well organized and racing was great. Can’t wait to do it again.

Glad you had a good time! Things went amazingly well between mother nature cooperating and you guys being great out on track with very few incidents.

Great event and well run Sean. It was my first event and won't be the last. Had a great time. I'm curious if anyone knows any of the photographers that were taking shots. I would like to take a look at them.

I’m going to give props to the gate 3 crew this year. Despite trying to get there earlier I again arrived around noon. No traffic on main road, turned left into gate 3 line and drove half way up before stopping. Maybe 5-10 mins later I was pulling through. Still not sure why the line stops moving for 1-2 mins at a time. I was stopped for 15 seconds to get my ticket scanned and show my letter.

Props to WERA too other than a possible table snafu registration and tech was fast. Racing went as smooth as I can remember. Especially Sunday. I think racing was done by 4pm.

Special shout out to Mother Nature. Best weather I can remember and I’ve been going since WERA had the midweek event for all classes. Not to be too nice, she decided to drop buckets of rain 5 mins too early. Got soaked making final trailer connections to leave but better than during racing.

The issues at the gate tend to be multiple people who are buying tickets there. Slight annoyance but they move them through pretty well even with that.
