Damn Does that end their WSBK effort too then? Fingers crossed for the "new and better beginning".

I'd always hoped he would take his brilliant mind and engineering abilities and apply them to building a proper racebike based upon conventional and proven concepts.

But regardless, he has a great passion for bikes and racing, and I hate to see him shutting down. Hopefully this is just another chapter closing and he will be back soon.

 

That is the way the article reads but it also says they where doing good at racing circuits.... Not sure what the measure of "good" is.

 

I feel for those that invested the time with the company. Although I did say when his last round of investors came about that their money would be better elsewhere. Surprise, once again the doors are closing. Sorry for being the ass that points out history repeats itself

 

The original Buell motorcycle company was his. He sold it to HD.

 

Wasn't he in charge of Beull?

 

Bummer. Though they never made anything I wanted it was cool to see them around.

Do you think the jump to WSBK had anything to do with the closing? That is a ton of money out the door to fund a deal like that.

 

Sad to see this. Great memories with the 1125R program. Hopefully something can be restructured to allow them to continue.

 

It would look awesome next to the 1125r. You can justify it.

 

I doubt it's the end...

 

I know when HD shut it down, none of the dealers around here would help with any thing buell parts.
