My chest protectors zipper is all the way up and is not budging at all. Any suggestions or products to help fix this? I’ve already used WD40 with no success
Man up and dont crash. Did you try some light oil like 3 in 1? Just a drop or 2 and let it run down into the zipper.
Lube it up with some 3 in 1 (or similar), pull it up with a pair of needle nose pliers and then try and pull it down. That's all I got, good luck.
Won't help getting it unstuck but rubbing paraffin wax on them helps alot. Did all of them on my snowmobile jacket and bibs this winter, they work alot smoother.
I had a similar situation with the back protector in an MX armored vest. I let it soak in the pool for a while and that did the trick.
Coincidentally i heard a geico commercial or something today, little known home remedies. Candle wax to unstuck zippers.
Wax or soap or light oil...a hair dryer and back and forth back and forth with a fair amount of patience.
I had some zippers that were stuck on the bimini top on my boat. Sail boat racer guys says spray them with McLube. I'm like, what ever dude...he goes to his boat, grabs a can and hits the zippers....bam...free like new... https://www.westmarine.com/buy/mclu...ance-dry-lubricant-8-oz--17757741?recordNum=1
WD-40, duct tape, and a sledgehammer, some combination of those three will solve any problem. Experiment.
