To the best of my knowledge ( it’s limited so take what I say as that lol) the 2 strokes blow up frequently because of the override on deceleration and not getting oil in there on the kart track.

At least that’s what a few have told me when I was considering putting a YZ85 together to ride with my son. Ended up just sticking with my z125

I know you lived your great life prior to that business, so that business alone isn’t allowing your current wonderful lifestyle. I could be wrong, but I don’t think it would cover my year round monthly nut, for my great life. :D

No problem. Totally appreciate that they are not cheap. Not defending their business model, but they do transport, fuel, tires, etc. Champ School charges $450/day for a R7 and that's on top of taking their school. Bikes are just $$$$.

No I was talking about going to them and renting a KTM enduro no transport, school, etc required

    How about this one?

Messaged the seller and he said the piston ring got bent when installing it - would that score the shit out of the cylinder? If not, what should I look for? If it's as simple as putting rings on a piston I feel like even I could handle that.....

In theory if he put the cylinder over a bent ring, I would think that would score the cylinder. I would rather have the honda versus the Kawi, mainly because there seems to be a lot more support for honda minis at the track, at least when we were racing. I don't know what the part availability is like now?
