Big Trouble in Little China.

 

About a year ago I checked into a hotel in Fort Lauderdale. GF and I decide to go up to the rooftop bar . We get up there and there was us , one guy and the two bartenders.
After we sit down in some chairs the guy comes over says “I’m gonna be singing over the PA system and being loud. Let me know if it’s too much and let me buy your drinks.”
We said no problem and after he was walking away my GF says I think that’s the guy from Grandma’sBoy. Sure enough it was Peter Dante. He hung out with us for the rest of the evening. Was just us and the two bartenders up there. He Insisted on paying for our drinks. Without a doubt the funniest person I have ever met in my life. Such a happy and fun person. Thing is I don’t even think he has to try to be funny. I don’t think he has to act if that makes sense. He had me cracking up for hours. He jumped into a few selfies I was taking with my gf and at one point says drive monkey drive. I’ve watched the video on my phone prolly a dozen times.
Watching the movie now I don’t know how they get anything accomplished if the rest of the cast are like Dante. Would be like hearding wild cats . lol

That’s a cool story, sounds fun. You must have caught him on a good day though, he has quite the reputation for being the opposite.

It’s fantastic and terrible all at the same time.

 

Wow. I truly know nothing about the guy other than that evening and of course he’s in movies . I would have nvr thought. Was so friendly and nice.
Oh well proves Hollyweird just sucks .

 

Never heard of it. If the trailer is unwatchable it doesn’t bode well for the movie
