Meh. GG will fall back, while the others improve in the 2nd practice. So, SNAFU.

 

Even if he doesn't improve much and stays in row 2 for race start that'd be a good result.

 

Gerloff P8 in FP2.

Not bad considering he missed the first 1/3 of the session due to a technical issue.

 

And he was p4 late on and then they took the lap away.

 

I predict he squeaks out a top 10 result barring a crashfest ahead of him or he himself yardsaling it.

 

I'm waging lucky 13th.

Gerloff qualified ninth on the grid, .06 seconds off Toprak's pole time.
1.066 separating 1st to 17th.
At least he's locked into starting no worse than the third row for the races.

 

I’m wondering if Topraks bikes will be a little detuned the rest of the season.

 

Montella throwing down the smack down on Huertas. Here’s hoping he can pull a few more to make the end races interesting.

the battle he and Toprak had looked like they were having fun… Toprak obviously playing but still… great to see Danilo closer to that win…

 

it’s all his head game… he’s got confidence now with his ride for next year secure so he’s not over analyzing everything and making mistakes…. IMO of course…

I haven’t seen the Gerloff boys since the 2009 I think it was AMARRGNC races at Putnam they were on Moriwakis iirc

hope he figures it out with this new lifeline next year
