What apps are ya'all using for auto mileage/maintenance tracking?

Hey all, I've been using an app called Autocare for a few years to track mileage and maintenance, but I got a new phone and the app isn't available anymore, so I'm shopping for a different app.

Ideally, I'd like one that everyone in the family can install and allow us (well, me anyway) to see the status of all the vehicles. The hope would be that if they are plugging in mileage at fill-ups, I'd be able to forecast a little better as far as when oil changes, etc are coming up.

A lot of apps only seem to be set up for one device/user.

What are you all using? Don't tell me a notebook and pen. My wife won't use it, my handwriting is as bad as a doctor's, and my youngest is worse than mine. The one kid with legible handwriting is at school out of state.

    Thanks!

    My brain.

Oil + filter change, tire rotation & balance - every 5K miles

    Air filter - every 15K

Brakes - when you hear the squeal (wear indicator)

    Transmission fluid & filter - every 50K

    Plugs, coil packs - every (100K - Toyota) (50K - Taurus SHO)

Water pump - (Toyota - 200K) (SHO - probably/hopefully at 100K [along with a bunch of other stuff] - car is only at 45K)

I have done other stuff to my Camry, but only when there is a failure. Examples include alternator and CV axles (one was bad, replaced both).

I'd say the most important thing is regular oil changes using quality brand oil and filters. And I will stick to a 5K interval, regardless of what the manual or oil company says. It is very cheap insurance.

Followed the above for my 1996 Exploder and though I've hardly used it in almost 20 years, it has close to 500K miles. Same for a minivan I inherited from my dad that has close to 200K. Camry just hit a milestone last week.

Pretty much what I use. Every car I own has maintenance/owner book with pages set up for recording it. :)
Don't most cars this days tell you when it is time to change oil?

We built our own for the race team, we track mileage two ways

    1) By ODO
    2) Observed, IE vehicles with no ODO

If there are people providing this let me know, who they are cuz I would like to compete with them. It seems really easy to make, but hard to charge for VS just a pen and paper

The odometer, trip b and common sense…
Trip A is always reset with fill ups, Trip B is reset at oil changes. Every 5K it gets an oil change.
Bikes are all in a note book for anything done to them.
My and the wife’s Trucks are all invoiced like a normal customers vehicle for warranty reasons and tracking also. Reckon I really should do the same on the street bikes also just because…

Ford ruined their FordPass by turning into a data tracker versus a nifty app where you could track your maintenance & receipts. Ive heard some folks use Carfax for maintenance tracking

^^^^^ This... Owners manuals for most vehicles have service record pages, or blank pages. Write down your date, mileage, and op performed. I log everything. all fluids, filters, (air, oil, cabin) tire rotations, dealer visits for recalls only, major/minor part replacements, etc... End thread. Ski
