Nothing wrong with comfort at all. I have a pair of boots like your Keen's (they're Sorels) that I wear in wet, snowy conditions.

As for Western / Cowboy boots, I have found them to be all day comfortable. At least from the brands that I have experience with which are Tecovas, Frye, and Overland. Matter of fact, I packed a pair of boots as my only shoes for a weekend trip with quite a bit of walking and had no issue. The other bonus to cowboy / western boots is that if you take good care of the upper, and you have a good cobbler local to you, you can keep resoling the boots for years.

May be. I've never heard them called that but they guys there swear by them. That being said, everyone of them also had a pair of Much boots hung upside down in the gap between the cab and bed of their truck.

Those are nice. There's a few places around Indy to get those. There was a store in Pleasant View (on the Far East side of Indy) that sold a lot of those.

From my mid teens to my mid 30's I wore either Harley harness boots(Harley branded cowboy boots), or Durango western style boots. All with work soles, not leather soles. Had no problems. Then they started to hurt my arches and I had to go to lace ups. Went through some Keens for a decade. And now I've found a Wolverine model that really are comfortable. Without looking like a fake Carhart doughboy bro.

He bought Larry Mahan's at the boot store, when he came in after the agua run. But, I feel ya.

I'm and Irish Setter kinda guy for daily working stuff, currently rocking a pair of their black leather style. They are super comfy. I did have a dress pair of snake skin cowboy boots for a while, during the line dance phase. :D Ski

Logging boots are the most comfortable type I've ever worn.

And this is the Motion and Byrd maker of the boot world.
