Seeing as first gen Armadas are worth about $6k - anything more serious than a headlight bulb is probably gonna total that bad boy. But the buy back will be cheap!

 

Yep, head to junk yard now for a left front quarter panel and headlight assembly. May need a pull here and there but I think you end up smiling with a chunk a change in your pocket if you do the repairs.

 

Facking deer....It should be open season 365/24/7 on those bastards. I've hit 3.
Most recent one was 6-7 yrs ago. 6 pointer in my little minty , 1 owner (plus me) '02 CRV. Only had liability on the car. Sold it for $100.

Hit a 200lb doe in 1994 with my 92 Sonoma 4x4 at 40mph. Bent the bumper, Fended cut where the bumper hit it, hood dented where teh KC lights were on the push bar, grill busted, driver side headlight gone, all 4 driving and fog lights on push bar gone, pass headlight wigged way to the right and up and it bent the bumper mount on the frame. $1500 total damage. My pushbar wasnt a decorative one. It was frame mounted with 1/4" side plates andthe tubes were .125". It just twisted a bit on the bolts that mount the tubes to the sideplates. Adjuster looked at teh pushbar and asked how fast was I going. 40-45, just shifted to 3rd, no chance to hit brakes. Looked at it and told me that it was a good thing that push bar was on it. A 200lb doe dead center on the from of a S-truck usually would total the truck. Deer didnt go up when hit, it got punted forwards. I stopped the truck before the deer stopped sliding.

Ended up driving home using my roll bar lights on backroads the 40 miles home. Deputy jsut told me to kill them if a car is coming and if you cant see with the last headlight, just stop and let them pass before turning the overheads on again.

70+ mph, '02 CRV....I kept driving for 3 miles. Radiator busted. Turned around and headed to house asap, 10 mins away. Grabbed the Excursion and went to work.

I hit 3 deer with 3 different cars one year. The best was I was in my PU truck with the snow plow on. I punted that f*cker deep into the weeds and didn't even faze the truck. I love winning!

 

Herds of them in my neighborhood,constant battle keeping them out of the landscaping.

 

Milorganite a few times a year. Deer cant stand it. Processed human waste. Great fertilizer as long as you are not putting it on consumable fruits or vegetables. You can't put too much on and hurt the lawn or the ornamentals. Ski
