Jake Paul got Mike to dance for him for 16 minutes. Disappointed. Jake Paul's slow and his boxing skills are track day at best, is my assessment.
What an embarrassment. The female fighters came to throw down, and had a phenomenal brawl. They should get the entire purse. This should effectively end Jake Paul's "career". I mean, where would he go from here with no real boxing skills? Tonya Harding maybe?
I think he did....I think he was just there to draw fans to the arena and Netflix...complete bait and switch in my opinion. I even think the large size of the ring was picked so that they could stand at a safe distance apart, but look like they're closer than they really were. Tyson fought harder at the weigh-in.
my theory is that jake and his cornball "influencer" squad flashed enough of their product placement money at mike to make him play along with the script. he really looked like he was holding back for the majority of it. even if he wasn't, still good on him for lasting 8 rounds at 58 years old.
Tyson had a pretty significant reach disadvantage and didn't seem to have the legs to help him overcome that. Oh, and having Father Time doing his best to kick his ass didn't help any!
I gave up on trying to stream it and went to bed. Even the other fights were buffering so bad it was unwatchable. Oh well, sounds like I didn't miss too much.
The fact that he can go 8 rounds at his age with a 27 year old decent amateur boxer is impressive. I challenge anyone over 50 to hit a heavy bag for 8 rounds. Tell me how it goes. Anyone who expected more than what they got from this circus is delusional. It was a money grab and it worked. Iron Mike got one more payday.

I was hoping to see Tyson produce a little more but it is what it is. He's an accomplished fighter already and has nothing to prove. I could have done without all the headbutting by Katie Taylor in the women's fight. I believe Serrano won but the judges felt differently, surprisingly enough. Couple of tough ladies. As far as the streaming, XB1 and Netflix app did fairly well. Couple short interruptions, got booted off once and had some image quality issues along the way. Maybe missed 20min total due to technical issues.
I wish Paul would fight a top ranked current boxer. The closest he got was Tommy Fury who beat him. Fury is a non top end boxer. Paul will not fight any professional boxer at the top of their game because he knows he would get whooped. Somehow he is playing us idiots and making money NOT being a boxer.
