The thread for lame excuses of why you're not currently racing

Only when they don’t know they’re racing, yet.

 

Divorce -> Moved City -> New Wife -> House -> Kid

Hoping to get back to it again, but seem to keep busy on the MTB

 

1, Dan left Jennings!! 2, Jennings quit hosting races (was only 2 hrs away). 3, Money. 4, Bought a Ural (fun to ride slow anywhere). 5, Bought a Jeep CJ 7 (which only exasperated reason 3). 6, Rum ain't cheap!! 7, Snowboarding. 8, I beat Travis Richards!!

In all seriousness, money. I probably could have run 1 or 2 more seasons before the coin ran out. If I had the disposable income now, I'd be racing. Miss the people, the smells, the sounds and the party in the pits when the race day was done!!

 

Yeah, the smells and sound! Wouldn't even mind the two smokers and a genny or two.....
