So, when are you guys waiting for those puppies to start your club racing season being told that you're gonna get them?

    July(ish)...

As of now, most everything is available (some with lead times). No word yet on a electronics package (i.e YEC kit) yet though. Given the spec ecu situation, I'm not certain we will see one soon.

If they've got smaller left/right switch clusters for the R9... I'd love to know.

If I had an R6 that hadn't sold yet, I'd probably hang on to that and hold off for a 2026 R9. Wouldn't want to be dealing with some first-year-Suzuki-like issues.

They have them, but it’s part of the dash/ecu combo

If one of them is the Red/White one in Houston, it’s a NFS demo bike.

Cool, knowing they exist is a start at least. Those giant pods are the primary thing limiting my bar options on the MT-09, and frankly my primary worry for crash fragility. Time to find out how to get in contact with the right people at Yamaha to see if I can get my hands on them and how adaptable to the other bikes in the CP3 family they are.

It's not a Yamaha part. It works with the L2M chrome, ecu, and harness which eliminates the street items. It's a race only part.

And I want it for my race only bike... and now I've got even more details to research against, thank you!

Ahh my bad. I misunderstood I thought it was for a street bike. Once the thing hits the streets it will probably take a nano second for all the parts to come out.

Yamaha just cancelled a bunch of R9's. They claim they are still having trouble with one of their vendors getting parts.

Interesting. I got word last week mine will ship in the next couple of weeks.

We have one scheduled to ship in 2 weeks, the ones they didn't cancel say August. We had 6 cancelled. We are only getting blue.

This far, out of the 3 others that were notified, blue was the only color as well.

I have no info on colors other dealers are getting and Yamaha did not put that in their announcement. Only thing you can do is check with your dealer on what they are still getting.
