How am I supposed to respond to a "fuck you" out of nowhere?
I've been to 7 funerals this year, 3 within the last month, 3 with my same last name. We never know what the next day brings, sorry you had some bad days.

I'm not telling anyone their business, but I took both of your replies in jest. No idea whom you've lost and I completely empathize with you on each, but until it's your spouse, you can't realize just how insanely fucked your life compass becomes. Having said that, I think your response was pretty graceful and hopefully she'll come back around to interacting with you in the future.

We've all been around here long enough to recognize who's who, and you both seem like good people.

Thanks. We all deal with it differently. I can't imagine losing a spouse. I come from a huge family, 6 siblings and hundreds of cousins. When I met my wife 20 years ago, she was 32 and had never been to a funeral, grandparents were still alive, since then she has been to probably 60+ funerals.

This year I lost a 71 year old brother, a 39 year old nephew, 39 and 75 year old cousins. I live 1200 miles from my family now, so there were funerals I did not go to. I did go home last month for 3 funerals in 8 days. Maybe I should get a pilot's license.

Had Yuki been a top 5 or 6 racer this year, Max would have been champ.

He is a liability. He doesn't take away points from the smart end of the field and he doesn't male other teams spilt strategy to cover Red Bull.

100% they would, if only to save themselves 60-80 million euros in driver salary.

I really want to see Norris win the championship and I am convinced he still will, but I think I would enjoy seeing Zak Brown having to answer for a Verstappen WDC just as much.

It feels like 2007 again where it was just assumed Mclaren, most like Hamilton, would win the title with 2 races to go. Then the wheels fell off the bus.

 

2026 can't get here fast enough. FWIW tho, nice to have 3 contenders on the last race even if Max is one of them.

 

Ooof that’s just a brutal display of strategery. They’ve gone from having the championship locked down to their 2 drivers to suddenly throwing Max a realistic shot at winning again.
