Anyone coming to Tally that has an extra XR100 intake boot/tube (between carb and head)? Mine is cracked and I'd rather not spend 50+ bucks on a new one.

 

RTV that thing until it acts like a hotrod part instead of a leak.

 

It will be something like that before I spend 50 freaking bucks on a 3" long rubber tube. Hoping someone has one left off a blown motor or somesuch.

 

yep, duct tape works (for a decent temp. fix).

Kurt, same thing happened to Austins little XR100, took me a bit to figure out why it was running so shitty, put some duct tape over it, and she ran like a top for several weekends. Then i went and bought an OEM boot and fixed it properly.

Kurt doesn't have $50 in the whole bike. He traded an evening of unce for it a few months back.

 

I've got one I will bring w/me that you can have.

 

I'll be there. First expert race weekend C-SB B-SB and both solos.

Hey Dits has been going good, at least for a few laps!
He's gonna school us all when he puts a full race together. Trouble is, being from Florida, he thinks he needs a break for bingo or reruns of Lawrence Welk after the 2nd lap.

 

1st race at Tally....Can someone please tell me the correct R6 (09) gearing selection?
