I'm interested in buying a tach from almightys and need to know if they can be made to work with a 2 cyl. The tach is from a GSXR and I want to make it work for an SV. Besides the mounting & wiring, is there a switch or rewiring to change so I can use it for a 2 cylinder? Thanks for your help.

Not sure how the Dig Ign. on the GSXR works

But some 4 cyl like FZR 400 actually require the tach to be in 2 Cyl mode. I think its because of the two seperate coils.

SOme aftermarket tachs like the SPA are programable from 1 cyl to 8 cyl.

You'll know in 5 mins if it works.

    ;-)

    Good luck

The only problem is that it will cost me 5 minutes and $75 to know.

We'll see soon enough. Thanks for the input.
