Bike has been dead nuts reliable, only problem I've had over the years was a head gasket that went on it this year. Motor was originally built by Ron Hopkins from RPM in Oregon. Bike is located in Vancouver BC, can be shipped at buyers expense. I am close to the border in Blaine, WA.
There are a few spares to go with the bike. Spare front wheel (OEM Suzuki with OEM rotors) New double bubble windscreen New Renthal 42T rear sprocket 2 front sprockets used once SV Racing Parts rearsets (not very good rearsets, but work in a pinch) Complete OEM wiring harness 2 coils with leads few spare plugs Various spare jets some spare carb parts
Bike is very well sorted. Motor pulls strong and smooth, valves were just adjusted and motor showed >230PSI of compression. Motor runs on 94 octane pump gas.
forgot to add, price is negotiable (but don't get crazy). Will consider trades, also, I can ship from the US.
Only about one season since last refresh. Last refresh included rings, bearings, valve springs and new intake valves. Compression test shows 240psi and 230psi. Bike is ready to win.
I bought an airbox from speedwerks a number of years ago. I had to cut it up a fair amount to get the flatslides to fit in it. I then noticed that the box could be a bit bigger, so I took the old airbox, made a mold, added some height to it, extended down and molded better to rear cylinder. Then made a male mold, and molded it in carbon fibre, vacuum bagged it using laminating epoxy resin. I noticed a bit more power on the top end. The airbox also reduced the noise by 3dB when measured trackside. Bike only blows 88-90dB at full chat down the front straight.
Forgot to add, there is a factory pro shift kit installed including shift star and detent arm. never pops out of gear, shifts like buttah
