Since most of the new DOT tire have very little tread, if any at all (PIRELLI) will they red flag the race and allow a rain tire swap for those who have em????
Nope. This is where racers will have to use their own best judgement (oxymoron?!?). We will do it for a Superbike race but not SS or Prod. It's up to oyu to pick the right tires for the conditions - AFAIK they still sell the DOT tires that have more tread...
