I have a newbie question but i have to ask it anyway! I just got my track bike back from a total rebuild! I some how developed cracks on just about every weld on my 06 gixxer dont ask me how"another quality product from the suzuki corp"! Anyway my question is the only thing i havent had time 2 change are my 16.5 wheels! I will be running 2 races this weekend at homestead. I dont think i will be a factor of any points protest, but can i get out in the MW SS class even if its UP i just want to run! My second question is i would like to run in the 12 lap race is this considered a gtu race. Any help would be appriciated! Thanks
John You may not realize this (being new), but your are asking a question about racing with CCS and this is the WERA race forum, so you may get a lil flamed on. You might have better luck on the CCS forum. hope this helps M
Yes, if you're on a 600 then you'll run the GTU. GTO is for the big boys. You know, fellas, this wouldn't be a discussion if WERA would make it down to South Florida.
No, you cannot race in SS classes with aftermarket wheels. Neither in CCS nor WERA. It doesn't matter if you are racing "up" or not. RTFRB
Cool thank! Ah now u hit the nail on the head its the organizations fault along with that damn obama and global warming! Lol also I did RTFRB and no where does it state the amount of laps in each race nor does it clarify if a rider want to ride UP with illegal parts! So sorry to ruffle feathers just thought I would ask before I showed up and waisted 500$! Totally understand the fact of getting annoyed with ignorance but some people do try to educate themselves with others that have caught a break and got the info from someone with a little class that has tried to save someone from makeing the same mistake!
