Ok, so I know I spoke with a lot of people Sat. night about "The Big Ugly" If you want to skydive and hang out and party, this is the place to be the weekend 9/13 Please email me: [email protected] if you are interested and want directions/info etc. Hope to see a lot of you out there... We're going to have several planes, lots of beer, food, bands, good times. Trust me. Blue skies Paul
Sounds like fun. Please email all the information to me, [email protected]. Chuck and I both used to skydive before we met. We have been talking about digging out all of our gear, making sure nothing has eaten holes in our canopy, and going at it again.
do you have to have any type of skydiving liscense???? is there anywhere I could rent a chute??? I've been wanting to go skydiving for a LONG time, but can't bring myself to pay almost 5 sets of tires worth of money ($1500+) just to do all the static line jumps, tandem jumps, and all the crap just to get to a free fall jump.......
Paul, the wife came up with a good question: Are there bathrooms? I'm assuming this is an all day affair that continues as a campout and into the night. Am I right?
Yes to the bathrooms, and Smith Mountain Lake would be the equivalent to racing at Barber. You can bring a tent, EZ-UP or whatever. And no, GLover will not be jumping out of a plane. Perhaps a cake, but not a plane
Then I guess I just need directions and an itenerary would be nice. I'll try to borrow a buddy's pop-up camper so the wife will feel spoiled. I don't plan on jumping out of anything (so don't get any idea's Buck) but I am keen on watching these fools float back to earth. Will there be good viewing? Do I need binocular's to see the terified looks on some faces? Red Oak anyone?
Rut Roe! BEER?!? Hell &$@ing yeah! The Lake is about 40 minutes rt.29 north of VIR Paul, break out some compasses and get the keg, er Joe some directions!
Are you guys screening my calls? Where you bitches at? Directions and details...www.air-sports.com There should be directions on there...if not, call me. Bathrooms, yes. Beer, just bring a small private stache as we'll have beer but just in case. Bring some snackables. We will hopefully have enough food. There is a place to eat just in case. Itinerary...show up, watch us jump, have fun, hang out...ride the mini maybe...although, don't bring it if you don't want it fuct up...you know how Buck likes to highside the bitch. I will have my new toy there....I think you guys will approve. If your wife wants to jump, she needs to call Billy Cockrell...it's on the website...call him to set everything up jumpwise. No backing out now...hell yeah..good times. I met a couple of hotties that will be coming down from West Point. I jumped there this weekend...hell yeah. So, be prepared to have a shit ton of fun and meet a lot of really good people...also, be prepared to laugh your ass off. Joe, if you have a roadbike, you may want to bring that...if the weather heads south we may try and ride...although we'll probably just start drinking... It isn't called the big ugly for nothing...it will get UGLY baby...yeah baby!! Bring some warm clothes...the lake gets a tit nipply sometimes. Bring some rain gear...some ez ups and a tarp...we might need some extra packing area... Camp fire is in effect...might want to bring a fire extinguisher and some first aid shit...maybe have a hazmat team on call if Billy hasn't done so already... Other than that..give me a call 757-679-2965 Looking forward to it!! Glover's coming right?
What? I'm not jumping out of the cake again this year, it your turn. So, it's the plane for me this year and wear those new vic's from your sponsor. Glover #85 www.medievalracing.com
