Unseasonably nice day: Take off from work and head west on 96 to Westcliffe in "Crappy pos convertible".

 

I'm staying at an Air BnB in Clearwater Beach, FL. Decided to sit out on the back porch since it is still nice outside at 7:15PM - 72 degrees.

Some folks down here in DFW are claiming to be able to photograph them on their iPhone. My android won't. Dunno why.

But, kinda like those comets that you need a telescope to see... If it ain't halfway across the sky bright enough to read by, meh...

 

She snapped these with an iPhone, and said the colors were much more vibrant in the photos than IRL.

She’s still in the greater urban sprawl so ambient light could explain that. Got to drive 30-45 mins from mi casa to get into really good dark skies.

 

There was a decent display this summer when I was up in Wisconsin, but they are definitely more visible to the phone/pics than to the naked eye.

 

All I had this morning was a low-lying fogbank right at sunrise while I was walking my dawg around the 40 acres, but I don't mess with living to document my life for x-tube-book-gram.

I'll just tell you it was fookin beautiful.

Still live on the 5. Had surgery yesterday, so off today. Took a cuppajoe and the dawg to the other property.
