I'm looking for a cheaper way to ship this box that contains footpeg stands to Spokane WA.

USPS and UPS want $90 is their cheapest.

Selling them for $100, I'd make $10 this way.

Any other ideas? I read online that places like Greyhound buses no longer do shipping either.

Fastenal did offer a store to store transfer service at one time. Might be worth checking on. Or tell the guy who wants them no, and change your ad to say plus shipping.

Just say its "bike parts "

We use them all the time now for bulky items under 100lbs

Pirateship is a good alternative also.

Why did you sell anything shipping included unless you’re Amazon or LL bean and can control your shipping costs?

B/C, I don't sell much on the net/rarely. I thought I already added some shipping cost to the increased quote.
When I come to find out that it cost WAY more that I thought to send a #17, 17x17x18inch box?
    I'm not perfect.
Thanks to the replies and one message I've received from this post. I think I can find a way.
    Thanks Beeb!

The buyer will receive all their funds back if I don't find an alternative. Currently, it's not worth selling for $10 net.

When I don't want to struggle with shipping I find the USPS is cheapest/easiest. I bought a complete frame guard for my Tenere 7 from Poland. It came in less than a week via USPS! Only thing was I had to go the office to pick it up as it wouldn't fit in the delivery girl's Subaru.

Ship Station through paypal has worked well for me. I think it is similar to Pirate Ship listed above.

+1 for PirateShip. Ive been using them a lot this year. Super Easy, and SOO much cheaper than going to the UPS Store.

The UPS store's are privately owned are way more expensive than UPS rates.
You can print a label online and either drop the package at the local hub or the UPS store without paying the huge markup the Store will add on.

    Solved!

I tried a few of the suggestions here.

I ended up going with bikeflights.com! For an additional $6, they'd pick it up too.

I printed the prepaid for label, and took it to the local UPS store.

What was $90, is now $36!

    Boom, done.

    Thanks again Beeb!
    Thanks Wingnut!
