Serious advice needed (Regarding Cops and my kid)

Alright, this is kinda embarrassing, but I know the majority of dudes here are good good peeps and before I do something stupid, a lot of times (not everytime) I have gotten some really good feedback and advice from here with a tad of smart ass and stupidity.

So a month or so ago, my juvenile was arrested for Domestic Violence against his mother. Im not gonna be able to post the bodycam footage but If you are on ,my insta or facebook friends, I have several sickening videos.

Long story short: I am primary parent with custody.
Hayden was taking his summer time with his mother against his will. He's 14.
He calls me losing his mind saying his step dad punched him in the face and they had his windows bolted shut etc. Theres a LOT more if you watch the videos.

I am extremely suspect as ex wife and I had a very very bad divorce, luckily I save everything which is how I proved what a piece of work she is and have full custody with her having the minimum by the state.

My main issue, and I know theres sooooo much more to the story, but my advice needed is I feel I have a VERY strong case against Santa Rosa County Sheriff. I have filed complaints as to how the situation went down and most importantly how my juvenile was treated by certain officers. I was skeptical at first until after I saw the bodycam footage and the others I have spoke to said that I have a case.

What type of attorney do I need for this? I have an extremely good criminal attny but he handles high profile murder shit so I am not even going to bother him. It sounds really silly, but is Morgan and Morgan the real deal? They say you don't pay unless they get you money so my thought is if they take the case, then they feel its a winner.

I guess the advice I am seeking is do I have any case or what would I even file under? Or am I wasting my time?

Bother your crim defense lawyer. Your kid has a DV charge against him. You want that shit dealt with by the guys who shit out bad charges and arrests like Lizzo chomps Skittles.

If there is a civil rights case to be made, you want someone your ball busting crim defense guy can work with. Let him advise you.

    Talk to your criminal attorney.

also, once you have your answers you might want to ask one of the mods to kill this thread. Dirty laundry and what have you. . .

What these 2 dudes said. A good way to get the right guy is to ask a lawyer who is good and you trust.

Go to the Santa Rosa Sheriff's department and publicly challenge him to a duel.

Stay away from Morgan and Morgan, worst ambulance chasers in the fucking world.

If the kids rights were violated, you need a civil rights attorney. But, like the others have said start with the guy you already know. You want this to completely go away or it's gonna follow him for life.

Yep. Many places treat a misdemeanor DV like a felony regrading employment, guns, etc..... get rid of it completely or at the very list simple battery or assault misdemeanor type stuff.

Ok so I personally won the criminal case today. Yesterday I called prosecutor and asked the secretary or paralegal how they were prepared to offer my son a deal (diversion program) when they hadnt seen the bodycam video. She was extremely condescending and a bitch and it was VERY nice her handing me the paper where the prosecutor said they were not persuing charges. This after fighting santa rosa county and everyone I could for the last month.

So basically I need a good civil rights attny. I will ask my attny for a recomendation.

Rob, as others said… get the referral from your criminal guy if you can… and make sure it is in federal court, as his constitutional rights were violated, not a bullshit state court with limits on tort suits.

They don’t care about lawsuits and courts… they care about public knowledge of their actions. Get prepared to publish the body cams and buy the billboards to expose them. That’s the only way to get real results.

Quantitative immunity is bullshit and needs abolished and FTP!

    Dave Wolfe I know nuttin!

Speaking from personal experience from my childhood, when you try to push police around, they will make your life rather difficult.

Consider a restraining order for your ex

there's a guy, randomly, that i watch on youtube called The Civil Rights Lawyer just cause it seems informative and he's not just some kinda douchebag sovereign citizen libertarian nutbag. He's from West Virginia, but perhaps he can recommend somebody he thinks is good in Florida if you message him somehow.

lol no, but anytime I have thought I was in trouble, he was there. Being that my son is no longer in trouble, I don't feel the need to pull the friend card because he would absolutely take time away from his other cases which I dont want him to do.

I'd say he is the right one to call. If he doesn't want to pursue it, he would recommend the right course to take. It would be like him buying a bike from your competitor, you would think WTF.

Wouldn't that have been covered when RB mentioned he has primary custody of the most time allowable under sate law so she still gets to have him a small amount of time - whether RB or Hayden want it to happen or not?

They have a terrible relationship as well as his step-father. The current issue I am facing, like I said the videos explain most of it. Long story short, hes been saying the abuse him mentally and step father apparently punched him in the head, tried to tell officer, officer took drunk ex-wife story. fast forward, I get bodycam, whole mood changes, dad morphs into rage mode, every office in Santa rosa county knows me now.
