When I heard that the helicopter was on its way I got worried... My thoughts are with his brother and family. A very sad thing indeed. I never heard for sure until this thread, but I had heard a few people talking about the wreck being a fatal one. Snapping away in the corners, I saw quite a few close calls. We all know what we are doing and what can happen, but this really drives it home.
Just for future reference a chopper at CMP (and Summit for that matter) isn't really an indicator of a major incident, it's just the quickest way to the trauma center.
GOD SPEED TRENT!! You join an elite group of racers up there on the best track and perfect equipment. My sincere condolences to Trent's family.
My prayers are with Trent's family and friends, Myself and all my friends were pitted next to Trent and his brother friday, we were upset to here of the accident and as quickly as we could, we packed their trailer to help in any way that we could. We all said our prayers and continue to do so today. Our thoughts and prayers will be with Trent and his family.
I never got a chance to meet either of you this past weekend but if you need anything we're here for you and praying for you and your family!
I race with my brother too, and I know the pain you must be going through right now. My thought are with you
As a good friend of Trent's - He will be sorely missed by me and my family... We love you Trent! You are an inspiration.
