I just went through this with Verizon. I kept getting texts for over a year that my flip phone won’t work by January 2023. Sure as shit it just went out. I just got the last flip phone in stock in my surrounding area to keep my number

Honestly, if I was still in college, I would have definitely had a hacked Android. Now that I'm older, I just want my phone to work without messing with it. I wouldn't own a Mac computer for myself for any reason though. I hate using my wife's (besides for the awesome screen.)
So, post up their gofundme/Zelle/Patron/PayPal/Venmo so we can hax0r their out-of-date phone OS, umm, I mean, so we can share the gift of charity and good tidings.
While it is a rare occurrence that I should be considered the voice of reason, the simple solution for Dave having his phone telling him what to do is Settings- Update - Automatic. On mine, you just slide the button to On. Then, Dave won't even know the updates happen until after they happen.
Yea they just gave me an $800 credit on my iPhone 10X max towards a new 14 Pro Max, but it was in excellent condition.

Ok heres my latest episode in "as the android turns.." My browser has been acting funny for a while where I would click something that should pull up my keyboard, but the keyboard doesnt pop up at all or takes forever, or shows up and disappears and shows up again, shit like that. I tried changing browsers. Same vehavior. Then I googled "why the fuck wont my android keyboard appear" and my mind was blown. Ok so heres the deal. Gboard is basically a keyboard logger hacking device. Its right there in its permissions n shit. It sends everything you type to google "to improve the experience" bs. It also collected like 300 mb of user data stored right on the fucking phone. 300 MB! Wtf? Its a keyboard it shouldnt have ANY user data its a fucking keyboard! I type a letter, it sends the letter to whatever app Im using, why TF does it feel the need to store all that shit? Yeah so if youre using android, turn all this shit off so you can at least fool yourself into thinking google isnt collecting the data anyway.
My $28 android phone serves me well enough. I'm not worried about privacy. If you want to see 693 pictures of my dog, I'll share them with you until your eyes glaze over.
