Nope… I also recognized the name Shane Clark and immediately thought WTF?!?!? when you started talking about pie, cigarettes and Dew. That’s definitely Mongo.
Come on in movies only famous people get to use their real names. Shane Clark is the character's name, geez.
The real star of the show was that K30 Dually. Wherever the hell thy found that thing, it was actually in decent shape for a damn near 40 year old truck!
Those are all good dudes. Would have been good if the producers and directors had listened to them more. t
I just remembered that they actually sponsored Eric Wood (Don't know why.) and the paddock perv was inviting girls to pose for photos, supposedly to get into the movie.
What I don't understand is that the script had some back and forth action at specific points on track. I know those riders could go out and make 3, 4, 5 scripted passes at specific corners and do it at a race pace - were they that locked into some kind of slow chase camera that forced this?
Well after reading this and TDJU I didn't even bother for the last week. But now that I've watched it, well, yeah, it was not great, but not nearly as bad as you guys are making it out to be. It's not a documentary- so of course there's going to be some Bullshit (ok a lot of bullshit). That's movies in general. Also it's not geared towards the 300 people in the USA who actually race. It's for the rest of the ignoramuses out there. And they don't care about bikes so we're lucky we got anything made at all.
