Made it to 101. What a legacy of TV and film.

 

He certainly left his mark.

Any guy that creates a show like All In The Family is ok by me.

 

Loved watching Sanford and Son! RIP!

 

Can you imagine having All In The Family today??? Heads would explode!

 

People have been saying stuff like this about tv for the past 15 years or more. Have any of you seen "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia"?
They are making things that stretch the current boundaries. You're just not watching it.

South Park does a decent job of telling the boundaries to GFY as well.

 

There's a MAJOR difference of expectation between network TV and cable service.....

 

I’m more impressed by his 52 missions in a B17 in WW2.

 

Interesting, which (pun intended) theater was he flying in?

 

That was a valid point when most people didn't have cable.

 

European theater, all over Nazi occupied territories. Lots of articles on him in WW2.
