    Oh man, had been hearing rumors of health issues/cancer for a while. That really sucks. I've been a fan forever and credit Eddie for getting me interested in rock/metal and as a huge influence in getting me interested in guitar. From rocking a tennis racket air guitar in front of a cranked stereo, to a plywood cutout, to actually learning to play, and a couple of years ago I painstakingly built a replica Frankenstrat.

    Eddie's tone and riffs will forever echo from deep within. RIP
