I’m sure many of us have Walt stories... I’ll share and hopefully everyone else will too...

One of my favorites... I was working on the Rez all of 04 for the Cherokee Challenge(mini Xgames event) He always went trout fishing on the Rez every season and he knew all us NDNs well and I’d been a Michelin rider for years at that point... come time for the heat races for the Supermoto event I put him on pole for the AMA Pro stacked heat... from the grid he looked at me and then at his competition with eyes as big as saucers as I threw the green... he was 55 at the time... It got knarly in the first few turns... his smile was huge and he had a blast!

Had the pleasure of meeting him, and on a couple occasions, watching him in the plane when we were at Tally.

Super nice, super cool cat. RIP Walt.

Never bought from him, however, I do know he was a valuable resource to the road racing community. RIP.

I was thinking "where's Walt" as the rain fiasco played out at Barber.

RIP Walt. Bought a lot of tires from him over the years, always a great resource! And it was always a good time hanging out with him after the races.

I bought so many tires from him back in the day. Always a nice guy,and it was hard to say that for some tire guys. He will be missed.
